The collection of used spectacle frames has been a project of Lions almost since inception. Lions BrightSight relies on the availability of good quality used spectacle frames for re-purpose through our project.
Used frames are sorted, checked thoroughly for suitability and then provided at no charge to patients requiring spectacles. We have new prescription lenses fitted to all spectacles supplied. Unusable used frames are recycled and not simply discarded.
To assist Clubs start up a used frame collection project, we supply branded collection boxes that Clubs can distribute throughout their communities at Optometrists, Supermarkets, Businesses, Clubs, Shops, Gyms, Sport Venues etc., where the public can donate their used frames for the BrightSight Multiple District project.
